TV star-turned-Broadway headliner John Larroquette struck a typically modest note upon being named Best Featured Actor in a Musical for playing J.B. Biggley in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. The five-time Emmy winner claimed that his Tony win, for a Broadway debut performance, might give people the notion that he’d gotten “more than my fair share of success in this business.”
The newly minted Tony winner won laughs when he thanked How to Succeed dance captain Sarah O’Gleby “who must have felt that she’d lost a bet when she got stuck with me." He added, “Very special thanks to Daniel Radcliffe, without whom I know that I would be sitting at home in my underwear watching this on television.” From the audience, Radcliffe seemed delighted at Larroquette's award.
